Care Instructions:

• To avoid injury, always use heat-protective gloves and take caution when handling hot cookware.
• Do not use on low-walled cookware such as frypans or skillets. Make sure the minimum height of your casserole is 11 cm (= minimum capacity of 4.9 L). Always use sufficient water, regularly check, and add water if needed. The casserole should be at least half full of water (minimum 2.5 L).
• Never use the steamer insert without the silicone base.
• Never allow the cookware to boil dry. This causes the steamer insert to overheat and can cause melting.
• Steam or moisture may escape during the steaming process but does not affect your cooking performance. Lower the heat when there is too much steam escaping.
• Warning: hot steam can cause burn injuries. Be careful when handling!
• Never use the steamer insert in an oven.
• Use extra caution when using the steamer on a casserole on a gas stove. Make sure the flames do not exceed the width of the pot!?
