Modern day 'slashie Tim Minchin is a comedian/ actor/ writer/ musician/ composer/lyricist/director and one of the coolest proponents of black eye-liner. His unique brand of musical comedy shares his hilarious and heartbreaking insights into the paradoxes of contemporary life. In addition to his original solo work Minchins responsible for adapting much loved texts into hugely successful musicals - he is the lyricist/composer of "Matilda the Musical" (based on Roald Dahls "Matilda") and more recently "Groundhog Day" based on the 1993 film of the same name. With a swag of awards including Oliviers, Helpmanns, Logies and Green Rooms he is one of the key Australian satirical voices in the world.
