Qum rugs are handwoven in the family workshops of the city of Qum, northwest-central Iran.

The technical production of Qom rugs is similar to those of Kashan. Although, Qum rugs differ in that they have their own distinct and original designs, with traces of traditional Persian rugs from neighbouring areas.

Intricate Flora and Fauna designs can be found in Qum designs, refelcting the artistic expression of the expert weaver. A truely romatic piece, one of a kind, and one to be treasured for a lifetime.

Important Tip: We recommend that an anti-slip pad such as Total Grip is used underneath rugs to prevent slippage between the rug and the surface it is placed on.
